The following events are accepting volunteers for the year ahead:

  • Policy [General Assembly, January - March 2027]
  • Membership [Ongoing]

CyberCon or Data + AI Summit


Vice Chair

Number of seats: One
Length: Two years, auto-ascends to Chair (two additional years)
RVATECH Membership: Required
RVATECH Sponsorship: Preferred but not required
Roles & Responsibilities: Observe, train, and learn under the direction of the Chair for two years. Auto-ascends to Chair after two years. Assist with committee leadership when Chair is unavailable.


ProductFest, CyberCon, or Data + AI Summit


Executive Committee

Number of seats: Seven
Length: One year
RVATECH Membership: Required
RVATECH Sponsorship: Preferred but not required
Roles & Responsibilities: Content/speaker curation, experience design, sponsor solicitation, attendee promotion


Champions Committee

Number of seats: Unlimited
Length: One year
RVATECH Membership: Preferred, but not required
RVATECH Sponsorship: Suggested
Roles & Responsibilities: Connections to speakers, sponsors, and attendees


MLM Women in Tech Awards


Committee

Number of seats: At discretion of Chair
Length: One year
RVATECH Membership: Required
RVATECH Sponsorship: Preferred but not required
Roles & Responsibilities: Award slate/criteria design, award jury and selection, sponsor solicitation, attendee promotion


Policy


Committee

Number of seats: Unlimited
Length: One year
RVATECH Membership: Required
RVATECH Sponsorship: Preferred but not required
Roles & Responsibilities: Consultation on policy agenda and review briefings from legislative consultant
