How Things Go Down as a Senior Product Manager 

A typical day might entail: 

  • Managing delivery of assigned projects by keeping track of scope, schedule and budget

  • Work collaboratively alongside a team of engineers, designers, and customer-facing teams to manage product delivery from ideation to launch

  • Working with core client stakeholders to communicate effectively on project status

  • Identifying opportunities by working with the technical delivery teams so that we can continue to partner with our clients

  • Working on internal UDig projects 

  • Helping the team decide our next 'proof of concept' initiative

  • Sharpening your skills through UDig-provided training

  • Taking a moment to unwind in our recreation room where you'll find a putting green, bball games and competitive ping pong matches

  • Earning cred amongst your peers through fun challenges throughout the year, whether finishing the 1500-piece puzzle in the common area, making the closest guess of what a pumpkin weighs or competing in a peanut butter taste test on National Peanut Butter Day

Below are a few boxes you should be able to check if you’re interested: 

  • Proven ability to effectively influence decision-makers, win trust, present technical ideas and high-level concepts and solutions to audiences with varying degrees of technical knowledge

  • Define and track metrics that drive insights into the success of our products

  • Facilitate project meetings to ensure alignment, identify risks, clarify scope and resolve issues.

  • Ensure project team is creating deliverables that adhere to our quality standards

  • Develop and present executive level status reports

  • Establishing effective project communication plans and ensuring their execution.

  • Create and monitor change requests to ensure that all parties are informed of the impacts on schedule and budget

  • Coordinating the development of user manuals, training materials and other documents as needed to enable successful implementation and turnover of the process or system to the clients

  • Identifying and developing new opportunities with clients

  • Obtaining customer acceptance of project deliverables

  • PMP is a plus
